Civil Litigation Attorney

Riverside, CA (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility)

A growing, established litigation practice is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys to join its Riverside-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who want meaningful autonomy, strong mentorship, direct client interaction, and a clear path for long-term professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation matters from inception through resolution and be comfortable managing a caseload with minimal supervision.

Practice Areas

Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• General Civil Litigation
• Insurance Defense
• Public Entity Defense
• Government Defense
• Medical Malpractice Defense

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
• Handle all phases of discovery
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel
• Develop case strategy and evaluate risk exposure
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution
• Maintain organized case files and proactively manage deadlines

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
• Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Ability to independently manage cases with limited oversight
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and case management abilities
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and sound judgment

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $160,000 - $190,000

In addition to base salary, attorneys may be eligible for:
